Cat Toxins

It may be easier to describe what is not toxic to a cat, the lists of what is toxic are very long (see above links).

Keep in mind that a cats can be harmed in multiple ways. They can directly ingest something such as a plant or a watch battery or they can intake something indirectly by washing themselves after coming in contact with a toxic substance (e.g. walking on a recently washed floor).

Its a good idea to takes some time to acquaint yourself with the toxic hazards out there and to make sure they are not in your home.
